Black Owned Event Spaces for Unforgettable Celebrations
Founded by Nigerian-American decorator Sade Mayson, our Prince George’s County venue blends cultural flair, tech-driven service, and a decade of design expertise to turn milestones into masterpieces.
A Black-Owned Event Space Built for Your Special Moments
Long before White Vine Venue opened its doors in Prince George’s County, founder Sade Mayson was already turning blank walls into unforgettable backdrops.
Her decorating talent — and the constant question, “Do you also have a space we can book for our next event?” — sparked a bigger dream: to create an inclusive Black owned event space where every host can feel proud to welcome guests.
After a year long search across the DMV, Sade discovered this hidden gem just outside Washington, DC. With a small crew (and plenty of late-night paint sessions) she transformed an empty shell into a bright, modern hall that comfortably accommodates up to 120 guests — perfect for weddings, milestone parties, brand launches, workshops and private dinners.
Today, White Vine pairs flexible floor-plans—round tables, cocktail tables and crystal chairs included—with tech-friendly amenities that make planning effortless for caterers, DJs and décor pros.
Whether you’re gathering colleagues from Baltimore or celebrating a Sweet 16 across the street, we deliver a seamless experience from first inquiry to lights-out.

Meet Sade — The Vision Behind the Venue
Roots And Inspiration
Raised between the vibrant Igbo and Yoruba cultures of Nigeria, Sade Mayson grew up watching gatherings burst to life through color, music and community.
That passion followed her to the U.S., where a fast-paced career in Information Technology sharpened her project-management skills—and financed a side-hustle decorating friends’ celebrations on weekends.
Each event fueled the same request: “We love your work—can we host it in your own hall next time?”
Breaking barriers as a Black woman in events
Launching an event space in the DMV wasn’t simple. From zoning surprises to loan rejections, Sade faced the hurdles many Black owned event space founders know too well.
Instead of quitting, she leveraged her tech background, built detailed business plans and rallied allies who believed in her vision.
A supportive realtor, a patient contractor, and plenty of late-night prayer sessions turned that vision into White Vine Venue.
